A Schengen Tourist Visa (Type C) is a short-stay visa that allows you to visit any of the 27 Schengen Area countries for tourism, family visits, or other non-business purposes. With this visa, you can stay in the Schengen Zone for up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Key Information About the Schengen Tourist Visa

• Validity & Duration:

  • Valid for 90 days in a 180-day period.
  • Can be a single-entry, double-entry, or multiple-entry visa.

• Who Can Apply:

  • Citizens of countries that do not have a visa-free agreement with the Schengen Area.
  • You can apply from your home country or a country where you have a valid residence permit.

• Processing Time:

  • Typically takes 15 calendar days, but it can extend to 30-60 days during peak seasons or in special cases.
  • It’s advisable to apply 3 months before your intended travel date.

• Visa Fees:

  • For adults, the fee is typically €80.
  • For children aged 6-12, the fee is €40.
  • Children under 6, students, researchers, and certain other categories may be exempt from fees.

Schengen Tourist Visa Application Process

• Determine Where to Apply:

  • Apply at the embassy/consulate of the country you plan to visit.
  • If visiting multiple countries, apply at the embassy of the country where you’ll spend the most time.
  • If the duration is equal, apply at the embassy of your first point of entry.

• Required Documents:

  • Completed application form (available on the consulate's website).
  • Passport (valid for at least 3 months beyond your stay, with 2 blank pages).
  • Recent passport-sized photos (usually 2).
  • Travel itinerary (flight bookings, hotel reservations, etc.).
  • Travel insurance covering at least €30,000 for medical emergencies and repatriation.
  • Proof of financial means (bank statements, payslips, etc.).
  • Proof of ties to your home country (e.g., employment letter, property ownership).
  • Cover letter explaining the purpose of your visit.

• Schedule an Appointment:

  • Book an appointment at the embassy or consulate of your destination country.

• Attend the Visa Interview:

  • Be prepared to answer questions about your travel plans, financial situation, and ties to your home country.
  • Submit your documents and pay the visa fee.

• Wait for a Decision:

  • Once your visa is approved, you’ll receive it as a sticker in your passport.

Payment Process:

1) Advance Rs 20,000/-

2) After VFS/embassy Appointment letter pay Rs 10,000/-         

3) At the time of document submission at VFS pay visa fee 12,000/-   

4) After Submit documents send us receipt from vfs and pay                        Rs 10,000/-

                                                                                                                                           5) Pay Balance payment Rs 48,000/- after visa stamp on passport

If visa refused from the embassy then only Rs 5,000/- non refundable balance will be refunded.

Total Processing time is approx 10 - 20 working days.
